Dr. Jill Ann Jenkins

Child Clinical and School Psychologist

Dr. Jenkins is a clinical child and school psychologist with 25 years of experience working with children, teens, families, and schools on all types of issues, from the most severe psychiatric conditions, to the most common day-to-day problems. She has worked in outreach clinics, inpatient psychiatric centers, day treatment programs, and schools, in New York, Dubai, London, and Barcelona. Dr. Jenkins completed her graduate studies in the United States of America, where she is a Certified School Psychologist, and in the United Kingdom, where she is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the British Psychological Society, and a Registered Clinical Psychologist with the Health Professionals Council. In addition to her practicing certificates and licensures in the USA and the UK, she is a licensed (“colegiada”) psychologist in Spain. Dr. Jenkins has been one of the first to be awarded the EuroPsy title, allowing her degree to be recognized throughout the European Union.  Since the beginning of Dr. Jenkins career, she has established herself as a professional that has a passion and interest in testing and assessment of developmental and special learning needs. She provides parents and schools evaluations on all types of childhood and adolescent concerns or queries. Dr. Jenkins also provides child & adolescent therapy, parent consultation, parent education seminars, and school consultation.

Meritxell Alquezar

Child Neuropsychologist

Meritxell graduated in Psychology by Universitat de Girona. She completed postgraduate in Functional Neuroanatomy by UC Berkeley (USA). Meritxell was awarded with the Concurrent Enrollment Scholarship by UC Berkeley, where she completed her  Postgraduate degree in Child Development. She additionally completed a Masters in Psychobiology and Cognitive Neuroscience at the  Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, and a further Masters in Child Neuropsychology by Universidad Pablo de Olavide de Sevilla (Spain).

Meritxell is an Associate professor at the University of Barcelona (Educational Psychology Department). Fully trilingual, she provides assessment and remediation for children and adolescents with Learning difficulties in English, Catalan and Spanish.

Jude McTaggart

Speech Language Pathologist

Jude McTaggart is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and a member of the Col.legi de Logopedes de Catalunya with experience in Barcelona working in diverse clinical settings and language environments with a wide range of speech and language issues; ranging from the International schools in Barcelona to the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona to private centres with groups and individuals.
Jude graduated in Sydney, Australia, with a Bachelor´s degree in Speech Pathology, and worked in the Department of Family and Community Services for many years, before undertaking a second degree in Arts with a Spanish language major which involved studies abroad in Costa Rica and of course Barcelona, Spain, where she has been established since 1998.
This love of international culture and language stems from her birth in Germany, her growing up in Bahrain, in the United States of America, and in her native Australia, and perhaps explains how she is now equally at ease in English, Spanish or Catalan linguistic, cultural, and therapeutic contexts.

Jude is enthusiastic about all areas of Speech Therapy, adult and child, fluency, voice, speech, language and literacy, and loves to provide services and information that benefit the individual, their family and their educational and social environment.

Marianna Legaki

Child & Adolescent Psychologist

Marianna Legaki is a licensed psychologist specializing in children and adolescents facing disorders or emotional difficulties at an individual or family level. She  completed her psychology degree in Greece and her postgraduate studies in the Netherlands. Her postgraduate studies focused in assessment and interventions for children’s and adolescents’ developmental, behavioral and emotional difficulties. She has worked on various clinical settings, in several places in the world, including:  International schools, special need’s schools, international centers of psychotherapy, orphanages, hospital clinics and NGO’s.  She has experience with Behavioral Therapy, play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Applied Behavioral Analysis. She has also worked in multifamily programs in London where she gained experience in working with families and their children with a wide range of diagnoses from Autism to less severe disorders.

Ever since the beginning of her career, Marianna has been a passionate professional with an avid interest for working on challenging cases. Her exposure to multiculturalism, her affection for children, and her sense of commitment to every case, are some of the guiding elements of her work.

Romina Rotsztejin

Speech Language Pathologist
Romina is a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist with more than 15 years of experience working in early childhood intervention, focusing on kids from 0 to 6 years of age. Romina graduated from Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a dual Master Degree in Speech Therapy and Audiology.She worked in different institutions in Argentina, mainly focused on early stimulation and development of special needs children. Then she moved to the U.S. where she worked for 10 years in Washington DC and the State of Pennsylvania. Romina and her family moved to Barcelona in 2011 and joined the international community, bringing a wide range of experiences and knowledge of different cultures from Latin America and  North America.

Jenna Mann

Art Therapist
Jenna received her master degree in art therapy from the Pompeu Fabra University here in Barcelona.  Originally from Brooklyn, New York she has been living in Spain for over 6 years.  Her focus for the past couple of years has been on mental health but she has more than 10 years experience working with children dealing with a wide range of difficulties.  She is able to work both in English and Spanish.

Jenna finds that using art, especially with children, when verbal capabilities are limited can be very useful as a tool for communication to better understand the needs of the individual.
